Floatation iQ Retailer Box & Email
Floatation iQ manufactures premium foam floats as at home in the lake as they are in the pool— think of a yoga mat, but thicker, brightly colored, and endlessly buoyant.
The Personal Libation Floatation Station
In 2018, they wanted to make a splash at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, so I helped create a direct mail campaign (both a media kit box and email) to send to buyers, encouraging them to stop by the booth and see the products for themselves.
Some of their products can get pretty big (the Floating Oasis tops out at 15 feet long), so we decided to send buyers the Personal Libation Floatation Station.
Building the right box
To showcase the product, we went with a clear plastic box housed in a sleeve that contained all of the necessary information. At the bottom of the box, a holographic water-printed sheet and tube helped to make the product look like it was floating. We kept the copy playful and the CTA summer-themed, true to the product itself.
In addition to the mailer, we sent buyers an email with information on some of Floatation iQ’s cornerstone products. Bright colors, Memphis-inspired design and playful copy kept the playful summer vibe going. Finally, a cheeky CTA, “float on,” added a little fun to a boring button.
