Hopping onto the True Crime bandwagon

I love crime procedurals. Ask anyone who knows me, I'm their go-to for TV recommendations, especially when it comes to mysteries. Oracle-like, they come to me looking for a binge watch-- Twists and turns galore? The Missing, season 2. A slow burn? The Sinner. Gardening and old lady comedy? Rosemary and Thyme.

Before there was Serial or even Netflix streaming, there was Law and Order. I used to spend sick days glued in front of TNT's "Primetime in the Daytime" marathoning Law and Order SVU. This deep-seated love, a pinch of boredom and the much-loathed office kitchen duty were the perfect conditions to spawn such a wacky idea.

In the world of corporate kitchens, unwashed dishes are considered especially heinous. In the MBB Agency office, the dedicated employees who scrub these disgusting dishes are part of an elite squad performing DISH DUTY. These are their stories.

It's specific and strange, but that's me. Feeling pretty #blessed to work in an office where people will help me bring videos like this to life.

I wasn't going to leave you hanging! Here are my top 5 crime procedurals of the past 10 years, in no particular order.

  1. Broadchurch

  2. Killing Eve

  3. Luther

  4. Top of the Lake: China Girl

  5. True Detective, season 1

Happy bingeing!
