Hi. It's me. I think I blog now.

I have a confession to make: this is my first legitimate blog. Four years in journalism school showed me enough self-congratulatory blogs to last a lifetime. Semesters abroad, free-write Fridays and moves to the “Big City” were all documented in painstaking detail for the world to see. I had a few false-starts for class projects, terrible crafts and even worse teen angst, though I never blogged in earnest. 

But it’s 2018 now, Merriam-Webster just added "dumpster fire" to the dictionary, and I figure I should have some way to express myself seeing as the end is nigh. I don't pretend to have any hot takes (mine are tepid, at best), but stay tuned for a mish-mash of movie reviews, reading lists, thoughts on the world and whatever else oozes out of my head.
